Spectranet is continuously upgrading itself to face the challenges of the fast changing technological environment. The robust OFC network is expanding fast to cover new sites and establish additional points of presence. It has launched Wi-Fi & WiMax Broadband using radio waves, enabling provision of ready-to-use internet without wires at hot spots like hotels, education centers, hospitals etc. The WiMax technology is easy to deploy, delivers non LOS services from a base station to subscribers and is used to fill up the dark area zones. It has also deployed Metro Ethernet equipments for 1000 Mb rings, giving increased capacity and higher uptime due to failover ring architecture.
