Client is one of the largest Healthcare group in Asia. Various test centers and consulting rooms are located across all the floors of the hospital. Apart from physical files, HIS system is installed which maintains records of the Patients
Due to lack of dynamic queuing, some test centers are highly crowded while some have few patients waiting. Patients are not aware of their wait time in a test centre/ consultancy room

The technicians and the consultants required a computerized system to view patient details in Real-Time in the form
of pop-up.

System driven patient routing/ management between various test centres in the form of audio and video (LCD screens)

To be able to view Patient's details any time by just entering patient's unique ID number in the system

Details on completed & pending tests for each patient along with their current location available automatically in Real-time.
Solution offered

Patients were issued reusable RFID tagged Card.

Patient details linked to the RFID tag.

RFID Readers installed at various counters, test areas & counseling rooms

System keeps track of the number of patients at each test centre

"Dynamic Queuing" ensures that all the test centres are uniformly crowded with patients by dynamically routing the patients in
real-time to the test centres

The details of the patient are displayed on the computer screens of the relevant technicians/ consultants in the form of pop-up

Technicians/ consultants update the test details in the pop-up.

Once these details are successfully updated in the system the transaction (test/ session) considered as completed.
