At a height of 165m, Singapore Flyer is the world's largest Giant Observation Wheel and is set to be one of Asia's biggest tourist attractions. Featuring fixed capsules the size of a bus, the spectacular monument is capable of holding up to 784 passengers. Each capsule has a 28 person capacity and each revolution takes approximately 30 minutes

Key Challenges
Objectives of the Solution were
Track customers who choose to have photos taken
Identify customers on their way out; displays finished photos
Provide easy retrieval at the counter when customer wants to purchase photos
At 165m, the Singapore Flyer is 30m taller than the London Eye

Challenges of the Project

Close proximity of read zones - Solution was to be designed in a manner that reader does not pick up any tag in waiting        areas
Reader installation restriction - Restrictions in mounting reader antenna
100% performance - Customer wanted 100% SLA
